Jason and Jaylyn Watson came to visit us for a couple of days on their way to Utah. Of course we had a blast.

Dad and I went bass fishing on the Boubeuse River. Man was it hot!! We had a great time, but I think the fishing would be much better there in cooler weather.

Dear Ms. Hoskins,
I am writing this letter to state that homework is useless and should be proscribed from class. Homework is a complete waste of time because kids normally think about what they are going to do after they are done, and lack of focus means lack of full effort. Homework is also INCREDIBLY boring. From my opinion, it’s just basically moving your pencil to and fro, and we do plenty of that at school. Also, instead of making us do math, just make us read a book. I hope you agree!

We went fishing in Arkansas with Jared and Rachel. I was impressed with how much time everyone actually fished. All of us fished for trout in the White River the whole day from the shore on Friday. I wish the kids would have caught something, but they didn’t give up! Jared and I did an all-day bass fishing canoe float trip on the nearby Crooked Creek on Saturday.

Emily cracks us up constantly. We could keep a camera on her all day . She watches a lot of movies… some over and over and over again. One of her recent favorites (and ours) is Kungfu Panda. The other day Emily said to me:
“Chi Fu says: Panda you are free to eat.
Panda says: AM I!!!!!”
She used the right tone and inflection.
